The Kauai Beach House Hostel is located at 4-1552 Kuhio Hwy., Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii 96746-1830.
Directions from Lihue Airport (Airport Code: LIH)
Kauai Bus:
a.) Take the Kauai Bus at either end of the airport adjacent to the baggage claim areas.
b.) Ask the Bus Driver to take you to the Kapa’a Neighborhood Center, it’s a community place for Luaus, Weddings, Parties, Political Events, Hula, Yoga, etc.; it is not a shopping center, it is 2 doors north of us. You may have to transfer to a 2nd bus after the airport bus…
d.) After getting off the Bus walk back 2 buildings past our blue garage on the highway and go into our neighbor restaurant parking lot to our side blue gate. CALL IN ADVANCE FOR THE GATE CODE OR CALL WHILE AT THE GATE. Our blue garage with the mural of the lagoon painted on it. Go into 1st floor reception area; go upstairs and ask for the check in person.
Rental Car:
There are airport large rental car companies and also small independents.
Taxi: For UBER and LIFT…GO ONLINE
There is a taxi stand and taxi’s at each end of the airport by the baggage carousels. Or ask an airport worker or greeter how to get a taxi. Tell the taxi driver you are going to the Kauai Beach House Hostel, 2 DOORS south of the Kapa’a Neighborhood Center.
Directly across the street from us is a coffee shop Wagon and Tamba Surf rental store.
A new Restaurant is next door to the south of us; and the Kapa’a Neighborhood Center is 2 doors past us. All on the Ocean side.
Directions from North Shore
Directions from north of Kauai and Hanalei Bay and town to the Kauai Beach House Hostel
a. There is only the main road (Kuhio Hwy.) from the end of the road at the Ke’e lagoon in Haena to the hostel.
b. Stay on this main road through Hanalei town, up through the Princeville shopping center area, and on to Kilauea town, that’s only a few miles more.
c. And then several (not that many) miles to Anahola, (there’s a restaurant and store and post office on the left going south, passing through tiny Anahola) on your way to the hostel.
d. Next is Kealia beach (4 more miles) and a mile more to the Kauai Beach House Hostel on the left.
e. Get off the bus across from the Kapa’a Neighborhood center (with Tamba Surf Shop, and a Coffee wagon and the former Kojima Grocery store. We are exactly across the street. Go next door neighbor parking on the right and through our blue gate, (you need the entry code) to find our reception on the 1st floor.
f. If you are driving go past our garage and turn into the next driveway that is the new Restaurant, drive out the back and our all free parking is there.
g. Come inside and check in and/or relax until you do check in. Stroll out the back by the soothing lagoon and ocean.
